I am a native South African who arrived on US soil in 2016, answering God’s call to ministry in the USA, where I pastored in South Carolina until the Lord humorously brought me to the Midwest in 2023. I am passionate about people, and have many years of experience in youth and college campus ministry, prison ministry, and working extensively with people struggling with substance abuse, sexual abuse, and homelessness. I am a suicide prevention and intervention advocate, have a BA in Pastoral Leadership, an MSc in Christian Counseling, a Master of Divinity, and a PhD. in Christian Leadership (Church Revitalization). God has blessed me with a fantastic church family, and I am excited to be a part of this community.
Fun facts: I was a firefighter, paramedic, and nurse before God called me to ministry. I love the outdoors, doing crafts, writing liturgies and poems, and sharing my house with my fur babies, Stormy and Mr. Ripley.
